German artist and producer Peter Vincenz (Digitalfoxglove) was nice enough to share his remix of Louis La Roche‘s “My Turn.” Was scheduled to be a part of the official release but for whatever reason it didn’t sort out. Either way, it’s our favorite take on the tune. Really emphasizes all the good bits including one of our favorite vocalists, Yann Destal whom was one half of Modjo. With this resurgence of disco and filtered house music it makes one wonder if a Modjo reunion may be in the works one day soon. Hopeful thinking.

Hamburg, Germany’s Moonbootica teamed up with Cheap Thrills boss Hervé to release “Tonight.” No frills here. Just a looped disco refrain that continues to build as the song progresses, a short vocal sample, and a driving 4/4 beat. Hervé and long time collaborator Trevor Loveys provide a remix under the Voodoo Chili moniker for good measure.

The godfather of techno Juan Atkins gets the remix treatment from Terrence Dixon, Worthy, and Oliver as part of the Scion A/V remix series. Oliver absolutely nail this remix of “Dayshift.” Love the bells and the synths. Just try to not nod your head. We dare you. Download the entire remix EP here.

Although it’s only a preview at this point it’s too good not to post. A tweet from Gigamesh with word that he was toying around with this idea peeked our interest. We are confident that his reinterpretation of the classic Deee-Lite jam “Groove Is In The Heart” is going make it’s way into countless play lists when a download is available in the next week or so. This may top the Michael Jackson remix back in December.
