Etienne de Crecy live at matter, London (Video)

Very much looking forward to the opportunity to see this up close and personal. Etienne de Crecy took his cubism to the crowd at London’s super club matter. Here is what we missed.

A bit of France on France action here. Heard this on Andy George and Jaymo‘s Radio 1 show a couple of weeks ago. BIG TUNE! There are a handful of remixes of the Pony Pony Run Run single “Walking On A Line” but the Beataucue is and absolute beast. It’s been slaying dance floors across the globe. Lots of support at Winter Music Conference this year.

Pony Pony Run Run – Walking On A Line (Beataucue remix)

Video for the original here for reference.

Diplo, Switch and crew in their element. Cheers to Jason Miller of eikonic.com. This definitely captures the Major Lazer vibe.

Duck Sauce debut at WMC (Video)

A-Trak and Armand Van Helden performed their first Duck Sauce set at the Fool’s Gold Winter Music Conference party. They took turns whipping the crowd into a frenzy. Hitting them with tune after tune of disco house goodness. Hoping that they do a proper tour sometime this year in support of the full EP.

Mr. Flash – Domino (Part A)

So Mr. Flash was the first artist to be signed by Pedro “Busy P” Winter post Daft Punk. His beats continually garner praise from both the electronic and hip hop community although he continues to stay under the radar. Mos Def is one of the most recent artists to leverage his production (see video below). Flash’s “Blood, Sweat & Tears” EP is forthcoming April 26th on Ed Banger Records. “Domino (Part A)” is a beautiful cinematic tune that pulls at the heart strings. Really looking forward to this release.

Tracklist:
A1 – Domino (part A)
A2 – Domino (part B)
A3 – Couscous
B1 – Flesh
B2 – Motorcycle Boy
B3 – Powerlight

The Chemical Brothers – Escape Velocity

Escape Velocity” is the first track from The Chemical Brothers‘ upcoming album “Further” due out on June 7th. This album is the first to be released with corresponding films made specifically to match each of the 8 audio tracks. They are doing four shows running from May 20-23 at the Roundhouse, a spot at Sonar Festival and select festivals in Europe. These are the only gigs where the album and new films will be performed together in their entirety. After the gigs, the films will feature on a special edition DVD release.
