“We’re just two kids who got bored one day, re-discovered Daft Punk’s ‘Homework’, got drunk and decided to swap our guitars for synths,” says Lee Dunn and Chris Petty otherwise known as “Youth Attack!” They have remixed tunes from Digitalism, The Ting Tings, Late of the Pier and have provided us with their latest rub of Tiga’s “Mind Dimension.” This one reminds us a bit of The Chemical Brothers sound. Sure to go down well in big room sets. These guys also run a monthly club night called “Kill The Rhythm” in Harrogate, United Kingdom so if you are in the area go out and support. The Chemical Brothers have churned out numerous top tunes over the years. “Star Guitar” is near the top of that list. Not only have they set out on tour again with their massive live show but have capped off the “Electronic Battle Weapon” series with tenth entitled “Midnight Madness.” Erol Alkan has been using it as the intro to his sets recently and the other lucky few who have copies of this are all raving about it. Pete Tong had the Chemical Brothers on his show a week ago and played the track. This is going to be one of the top tunes of the year! Give it a listen and judge for yourself.
