This could be interesting…..

Diplo has been in LA putting the finishing touches on the ‘Major Lazer’ album with Switch, hanging at Rick Rubin’s house, and spending a lot of time on Twitter. Then this happened…..
He doesn’t do too many proper house tunes but this one came out pretty well we think.

As we have highlighted many times previous, Herve is a music production machine. You would be hard pressed to find a time in the past couple of years where he didnt have multiple solo and collaborative projects selling in the shops. The “fidget” naming convention does not apply. That was a term that Jesse Rose made up long ago when he, Switch, and Trevor Loveys first started putting out records in the early days of Dubsided. Herve’s music cant be pinned down to a single genre. This time around he has linked up with none other than Kissy Sell Out. Kissy isnt doing to bad for himself either. More on that soon.
PS. Herve, what is it going to take to get you on a plane to come to the US??

Switch’s Dubsided label has fallen off the radar a bit until now. Buzz worthy producer Duke Dumont comes to the table with “The Dominion Dubs EP.” You have most likely seen the track “Hoy” bouncing around the interweb in recent weeks. One of the standout tunes from this five track EP is “Feltham” that is a James Brown funk inspired chunky house number that will be sure to make its way into sets from top DJs this year.

New The Futureheads video for the track “Walking Backwards” from their third studio album “This Is Not The World.” You can’t go wrong with muppets! The single will be released on August 4th. Make sure you pick it up!
And in case you forgot, or were hiding under a rock in 2006…..Switch did an epic remix of The Futureheads “Worry About It Later.” In our opinion, not only one of the top remixes of 2006 but also in our top 10 remixes of all time! Enjoy.

Here is a recent Dave “Switch” Taylor DJ set from back in February at a club called Focus in Orange County, California. The set is mainly comprised of his own productions but he drops a couple of non-Switch nuggets in there as well for good measure. Enjoy!
Some videos from the same night:

Once again, Fabric puts together another monster line-up! As a special treat, here is a Drop The Lime set from his last FABRICLIVE appearance for your listening pleasure. Enjoy!!

An event not to be missed if you are in NYC!!! Switch + Best Museum Party in NYC = Good times!!
