Yes, a lot of Soulwax news here as of late but for good reason. We just got word from their camp that they are set to play the next “MySpace Secret Show” on Friday August 22 in London at Electrowerkz in Islington (7pm local time), an amazing warehouse style venue over 2 floors. The gig is FREE! For your chance to go to the show you need to:

- Turn up on the day with your profile printed out
The event is first come, first served so get there early!
And don’t forget, the “Part of the Weekend Never Dies” DVD is officially released on September 8th.
It seams that Soulwax isnt the only dynamic duo getting into the documentary game. Justice previewing their film at the Chibuku Party in Manchester on November 8th where they will be playing along with DJ Mehdi, Busy P, So Me, Ivan Smagghe, Optimo Espacio, The Presets, Fake Blood, and Yuksek.

We received word that the eagerly anticipated Soulwax documentary “Part of the Weekend Never Dies” will be available to download on August 18th from the Xbox LIVE Video Store. In addition to the movie, you will be able to watch all the onstage fun and backstage chaos in high definition!
Here is a DJ set from Justice recorded live over the weekend from Amnesia in Ibiza. Lots of tunage in this one including that monster Soulwax remix of The Chemical Brothers “Hey Boy Hey Girl” at the 16 min. mark. This should help you get the week going. Enjoy!

With the soon to be released (on DVD) Soulwax documentary “Part of the Weekend Never Dies” and monster remixes for MGMT and The Chemical Brothers on the way there is no doubt that this event is going to big. Well worth getting your name on the list but definitely no guaranteed entry. Get there early!!! This is going to be a special treat for those in LA and surrounding areas.
There are a lot of people eagerly awaiting Soulwax’s official remix of MGMT’s “Kids” track. Only a chosen few have received promos thus far. Of course, Erol Alkan is one of those lucky few. Here is a video of Erol playing the track in his set at the T In The Park festival a couple of weeks ago. This is going to be huge!
New bootleg 12″ by Cut And Run, who added a break-beat flavor to the Soulwax Ravelight Dub of Robbie Williams’ “Lovelight.”
