Very limited download opportunity for this new remix by American “fidget” house producer Bryan Cox. The good folks at Crux Records were kind enough to send this over to promote the Headshotboyz single “Exodus.” This one has a darker feel to it and will be sure to prove any sound system’s limits. Get it while you can!!!

There was a radio rip making the rounds and a few higher quality versions of the track being posted on some big blogs in the past couple of days. We just received the official final version of the remix and are loving it! The Justice boys nailed this one. Taking MGMT’s already dance floor friendly tune and giving it a french touch.
Off Trouble & Bass comes the speaker-destroying Sharkslayer remix of Curses!’s “What I Need”. The remix pairs down the sound to an undulating low end liquid bass line. Brooklyn heavy bass music!!
“Wooden” is a stellar tune off Simian Mobile Disco’s full length album “Attack Decay Sustain Release.” Hadn’t heard any good remixes of the track until we received a heads up on this mix by Danton Eeprom. He does a great job of capturing the essence of the original. Make sure you check out his other remixes here when you get a chance. The “Wooden” remix is included amongst others in a new compilation called “Attack Decay Sustain Release Remixed” to be released at the end of July.
This is a tune that was canned by all the big names at Winter Music Conference this year and continues to destroy dance floors across the globe. Radioslave is just one of the various names Matthew Edwards uses for his various productions, re-edits, and remixes. Others include Matthew E, Quiet Village, Sea Devils, and Rekid. His love for making DJ friendly re-edits of popular tunes (Jay Z, Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, etc.) lead him to releasing a number of them as white labels and even a few on his own label (REKIDS). This set him on the path to producing his own original material and making the REKIDS label one of the most respected in dance music over the past few years. “Grindhouse” is labeled as a DJ Tool on the “No Sleep - Part 4” EP released in March. Its a dark tech-house stomper that has recently been given a refresh by Ali “Dubfire” Shirazinia from the infamous Deep Dish.

This one is getting a lot of play around here recently although its been out for some time now. Night Facilities captured the essence of Adele’s original and brought it to the dance floor quite nicely.
Big things coming from the Trouble & Bass camp this year. Drop The Lime continues to be the evangelist for the label and the New York City bass music sound. Not to mention working with electronic music’s elite producers on the upcoming Machines Dont Care project . Another DJ/Producer that we have been really excited about is Boy 8-Bit. At the end of March he released a track called “Fog Bank” on Trouble & Bass with remixes from Jack Beats and Acid Jacks. Keep an eye out for this guy. He has a laundry list of new productions and remixes on the way!

We want more Jaxx!! Getting anxious for the new full length to hit the streets sometime later this year. In the meantime we will have to settle for a remix. This one is getting some love on Radio 1 but havent seen it talked about much in the blogosphere for some reason. Either way, here is a little taste of Basement Jaxx for you. This time around they have given Adele some Jaxx flava.
