We are pretty excited about the new Filthy Dukes single ‘This Rhythm.’ Samuel Dust from Late Of The Pier on guest vocals and remixes from the likes of Fred Falke, Emperor Machine, Toddla T and Kill Em All (on MySpace player for previewing). The video directed by Sarah Chatfield is both beautiful and haunting. Official release is March 9th with the full length due March 16th.
“We’re just two kids who got bored one day, re-discovered Daft Punk’s ‘Homework’, got drunk and decided to swap our guitars for synths,” says Lee Dunn and Chris Petty otherwise known as “Youth Attack!” They have remixed tunes from Digitalism, The Ting Tings, Late of the Pier and have provided us with their latest rub of Tiga’s “Mind Dimension.” This one reminds us a bit of The Chemical Brothers sound. Sure to go down well in big room sets. These guys also run a monthly club night called “Kill The Rhythm” in Harrogate, United Kingdom so if you are in the area go out and support.
