Its been way too long since Mylo has released any original material. Annie Mac debuted his new single aptly titled ‘I’m Back’ on her show a week or so ago. Looking forward to hearing more soon. Listen to the rip below and let us know what you think!
Some amongst the drum & bass community seem to think that High Contrast is selling out a bit by doing a slew of remixes recently for big name pop artists. We disagree. This man is a true talent. High Contrast has done it again. This rub of MGMT’s “Time To Pretend” is going to absolutely destroy dance floors. It was so good that we are going as far as posting a rip from Annie Mac’s recent show to help build some more buzz for this record.

Burns is quickly becoming someone to look out for in 2009. Breastfed Records (Mylo and Linus Loves label) has recently added this young producer to their roster. His bootleg “Make Love” has been played multiple times on Annie Mac’sMashup show and making its way into the playlists of many big name DJs. If you happen to be lucky enough to be in Sydney, Australia on new year’s eve we recommend you take advantage of the chance to see him play alongside Calvin Harris, Miami Horror, and Boys Noize at the massive Harbour Party. In the meantime, give the tune a listen and let us know what you think.

Heard this for the first time during Winter Music Conference when Annie Mac had Calvin Harris on her show. Dizzee Rascal taking it a bit more dance-pop route than his signature DIY grime material. On the other side of the spectrum from his Mercury Prize winning first album. Calvin Harris acts as the “Dr. Dre” to Dizzee’s “Snoop Dogg”. A party tune that will definitely go down well in the club this summer. “Dance Wiv Me”will be released on CD, 12″ and download on June 7th through Dizzee’s own Dirtee Stank label.
SO ME takes his cheeky, 80’s inspired vision to the next level on this one. The motion design was by Machine Molle. Definitely up there with Snoop Dogg’s video for “Sensual Seduction” for video of the year thus far. Enjoy!
On another Justice related note….Annie Mac premiered a new track called “Disco Sirens” on her show last night tagged as Justice vs. Soulwax. Kind of misleading. Actually, the track is the new Midfield General single. Xavier from Justice did the bass line for the track and Dave from Soulwax mixed it. You can check it out here.
