Wanted to take a minute to say thanks to Guy Kawasaki and the good folks at alltop.com for adding our little baby to their site. For those RSS junkies out there, alltop.com is essentially a feed aggregator that organizes the top stories from important sites on the web in various categories such as culture, geekery, people, and living. Within each category you can dive into sub categories where you will find top stories without having to parse through your personal feed readers. It just came out of beta so keep an eye on it as it will grow quickly as more sites are added to it. Check it out!!

New video from Buraka Som Sistema featuring DJ Znobia, M.I.A., Saborosa and Puto Prata. Stay tuned for their full length debut, “Black Diamond”, this summer. Their music sounds like nothing else on the music landscape these days. The fusion of kuduro (a genre of dance music from Angola), grime, hip-hop and house takes you from the suburbs of Portugal to the club. We hope that Basement Jaxx hook up with these guys to do something soon if they havent already. This track has the feel of “Jump and Shout” but takes it to the next level with the addition of these great international MC’s.
If you happen to be in the UK you can catch them at the following venues:
March 19th - LIVE AT HOXTON BAR & KITCHEN
March 20th - DJ MC AT YO YO, NOTTING HILL ARTS CLUB
March 21st - LIVE HEADLINE AT FABRIC LONDON
Here is another video from a past “Get Familiar” night at Fabric. Interviews with Diplo and Sinden talking about how they discovered Buraka Som Sistema’s music:

With the beautiful Katie White juggling vocals, guitar and bass and Jules De Martino on drums, the Ting Tings are conquering America. BBC.com included them in their Sounds of 2008: Top 10 to Watch and acclaims their “mix of pop sensibility and indie credibility” has led to their instant success.
“Great DJ” is a catchy tune which is making its way onto many charts these days. The single hit the streets on March 3rd on CD/limited edition 7″ and digital download.
Here is a video of the duo performing the track on British television:
Calvin Harris has taken the track and made it even more dance floor friendly.

Once again, Joshua Harvey and his partner in crime Sinden knock another one out of the park. This time the dynamic duo give the legendary Ron Carrol the treatment. This is one of our favorite remixes of the year thus far. Wobbly bass line, spacey synths, and you cant go wrong with some cowbell action!
SO ME takes his cheeky, 80’s inspired vision to the next level on this one. The motion design was by Machine Molle. Definitely up there with Snoop Dogg’s video for “Sensual Seduction” for video of the year thus far. Enjoy!
On another Justice related note….Annie Mac premiered a new track called “Disco Sirens” on her show last night tagged as Justice vs. Soulwax. Kind of misleading. Actually, the track is the new Midfield General single. Xavier from Justice did the bass line for the track and Dave from Soulwax mixed it. You can check it out here.
