French Touch

A couple of gifts for our readers here.
First….for a history lesson in the “French touch” disco/filtered house movement from the 90’s that Guy-Man and Thomas Bangalter were a integral part of you should check Solid Goldberger. Its one of the most focused electronic music blogs on the web. The tracks are all sent in from folks like us who were buying records from labels like Crydamoure, Vertigo, 20000st, We Rock Music, and Roule during this amazing time in house music. If you happen to have vinyl from this era of French house music hit him up and he will post your stuff for all to enjoy. Highly recommended!!
Second….a complete archive of all of the Daft Punk DJ sets performed (when they still did DJ gigs) from the 90’s as well as a few recordings of their early live shows and Alive 2007 tour dates. This is the most impressive archive that we have come across. A big thank you goes out to Kiyoshi for sharing. Make sure you subscribe to his blog so he will share even more!!
Cheers!

Cheers for the Solid Goldberger llink. Was looking for some other sites with semi-similar tastes to yours. And the daft punk stuff - seeing them live in 07 was amazing, can’t wait to hear the mixes. Love this site, keep up the great work

Our pleasure! Some great stuff there. It was an exciting time in house music. And there would be no Ed Banger, Justice, etc without it. Enjoy!
