Daft Punk - Enlighted
Now that the tour is over, the company who designed the illuminated suits that Daft Punk wore in the encore of their live show has revealed some behind the scenes photos of their design. I think we speak for everyone who was lucky enough to see the encore performance in person agrees that it is the highlight of the show and an experience not soon forgotten.

I saw these guys at Coachella a few years back. Top 5 best shows of my life. Where was this show?

I was there as well! That was a historical performance. The lighshow, pyramid, etc. was created for that show alone as a one off. But the buzz generated after led to them deciding to take it on the road.
The encore with the suits lighting up was added to the live show when they did a massive homecoming gig in Paris, France. They then did the encore for all the remaining shows. I was lucky enough to get to see it in LA last summer. Gives me goose bumps everytime I see it.

I saw Daft Punk with the Pyramid in Berkeley, and it was one of the Top 5 shows of my life.
But Kayne West is like the King Midas of shit. Everything he touches turns to POOP.
Why, Daft Punk? Why allow him to rob your shine? Are you Jimmy Page now, shitting on your classic “Kashmir,” live on TV, so that Puff Daddy can feel cool?
It was one thing to sample the song. Another to rip the aesthetic. But now they’ve bought in? Fuck all that bullshit

I hear you. Kanye saw something new and unique in DP and the new music coming out of France and wanted to be a part of it. He also knew that his audience would see it as something fresh as the large majority of his fans are not “in the know”. He even went as far as to befriend SO-ME who did the video for Justice vs. Simian - We Are Your Friends and had him do his video for “Good Life”.
DP and the Ed Banger crew consider him a friend and have openly shared their stuff with him so its not completely stealing I guess. I hope that Kanye realizes that he is really going to have to step up his game in a big way on the next album and come up with something new on his own.
