Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Man liken the Alive 2007 show to a symphony performance. Although the entire show is pre-programmed in Ableton Live, they are still manipulating sounds and manually tweaking bits and pieces throughout.

Classic material from DJ Tonka. Part “big beat”, part disco, part hip hop. This is a timeless tune that is guaranteed to get people dancing. Tonka (Thomas Gerlach) used to produce break beat and techno tracks with Ian Pooley back in the mid 90’s but after the partnership dissolved he went on to produce house music on his own. “Phun-ky” was released in 1995 as a single and was a staple in many DJs sets including Fatboy Slim.

30Hz is a lad from DC who ended up across the pond in Bristol due to his love for electronic music. Coming from a hip hop background he found himself progressing into breaks, dubstep, house, and techno. Our boy Trevor Loveys got a hold of this one and did work!! Its a monster.
