It was a glorious evening of decadent electronic music. A southern California crowd all pumping their arms to Ed Banger tunes and the Mr. Oizo remix of Rage Against the Machine’s “Killing in the Name Of” during the Sebastian and Kavinsky sets, die hard Ratatat fans chanting song requests, and then Thomas Bangalter and Guy Man hit the stage. The energy was incredible. The historic event some of us got to witness at Coachella some time ago has only gotten better. If you are reading this from any region of the world that is lucky enough to host this show in the next couple months do yourself a favor and get a ticket. It may not come around again. Thank me later. The encore alone is worth the money!
