A slew of new remixes came in over the past couple of weeks. First up a new one from Switch that has been getting a lot of people excited. Its a mix of Jacknife Lee’s “Making Me Money.” Now that I have gotten to hear a good copy of this, I do remember Switch dropping it when he was here in San Diego. Good stuff! Next up is a remix by the genious behind the Ed Banger album cover art. A gentleman that goes by the name of So Me. Here he gives his twist on the Klaxons song, “Golden Skans to Interzone.” There is a bit showcasing his artistic skills in the Pedro Winter interview in the previous post. Talented dude. Finally, a new stab at the P Diddy/Christina Aguilera track “Tell Me.” This time the edit is by Phones. Definitely feeling this one. Cheers!

timbo.jpg

A little sneak peak into the new Timbo full length coming out on April 3. A lot of buzz regarding this one. Bets are on to see if all of the collabos will culminate into a great album. Timbaland has been hyping himself as the greatest producer in the game (non genre specific) so it will be interesting to see how widely accepted it is. 06′ was a big year for him, no doubt. But can he stay consistent? Only time will tell…

Here is a lengthy radio interview he did recently while on the road with Timberlake. Speaks to his career, goals, passions, etc. Runs about 20 minutes or so. I found it to be pretty interesting. As a side note….there is a quote bouncing around the interweb from Timbo saying that he wants to help “crazy baldhead” AKA Britney Spears dig herself out of the PR nightmare she has put herself in by producing some tracks for her. Timbo is great but I dont even think he can repair the damage done to her image.

Jaxx Your Body!

“Hey U” is the last single released for the latest Basement Jaxx long player Crazy Itch Radio. Although there were a couple of standout tracks on the record, it didnt fare too well here in the states. Across the pond, it made a bigger impact and the Jaxx did some serious touring on their own as well as a stint with UK pop idol Robbie Williams. Looking forward to seeing what Felix and Simon come up with as their next concept. In recent weeks they released an EP on their Atlantic Jaxx label with a standout tune called “Make Me Sweat” which is getting a lot of love from DJs and the blogosphere. Hoping they put out a few more DJ friendly tunes on the label until they release their next full album. So… I present to you a Dave Taylor and Graeme Sinden remix for your listening enjoyment. I am really feeling the horns on this one. Cheers!

It keeps getting juicier!! Looks like Kavinsky, Sebastian, and The Rapture will be hitching a ride on the Daft Punk tour this summer. Its going to be rediculous if this thing actually goes down!!

On another note they must have been filming some of their recent festival dates. Peep this teaser for the show they have coming up in Paris.
