The deck-lo has been on heavy rotation as of late. Notoriously popularized by The Van Doren Rubber Company, Vans offered us that sweet silhouette as well as the slip-on which, as of late, has been getting a bit of a lift in the way of luxury treatment and have been crafted in offerings of high-end leather.
The late Alexander McQueen’s collection for PUMA’s Black Label continues it’s luxe creative expressionist streak by way of a deck-lo. Crafted with supple, monochromatic tones of pink rose leather (matching shoelace aglets) with black contrasting heel backing, and clean vulcanized white rubber sole.
