A couple of additional noteworthy bits…
The trio are playing a gig with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra on Wednesday September 19th at Bridlington Spa. Something they’ve never attempted before so definitely not to be missed. You can apply for tickets here.
Additionally, NME reports that The xx’s Oliver Sim has written a song that he’d like to pass along to Beyonce. Guess it was something that wasn’t the right vibe for the band and he though she’d be perfect for it. The band had the chance to share a meal with Beyonce and husband Jay-Z back in June around the time of BBC Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend. Will definitely have to keep tabs on this one.
