Music: Watch Nile Rodgers Share Thoughts Regarding Daft Punk Collaboration

As a Daft Punk connoisseur, fanatic, super fan, etc., I’ve been on the pulse of anything related to the forthcoming new album. Legendary musician and founding father of Chic, Nile Rodgers, has been as forthcoming as he can be about his session with Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel De Homem-Christo. He and Giorgio Moroder shared bits and pieces of their individual experiences working with the duo at this years International Music Summit in Ibiza.

Speaking exclusively to Mixmag after his set at Camp Bestival, Rodgers shared a few additional thoughts regarding the experience.

“Spiritually and artistically working with them was as good as anything I’ve ever done. It’s as great as being in a studio with Bowie, it’s great as being with Bernard Edwards, and it’s as great as the best stuff I’ve ever done with Duran or Madonna.”

Bold words from such an accomplished artist. Goose bumps. Check the video clip below.
