Every so often an artist or group gives music a well deserved swift kick in the ass (house music is most definitely due for one). TNGHT, a collaboration between producers Hudson Mohawke and Lunice is going to give hip hop producers a serious wake up call with their forthcoming self titled EP. Due on July 24th via Warp/LuckyMe, the EP features five tracks that are ripe for the rap game. Kanye West (shocker) has already come calling as have many others. The duo debuted the material with a gig at this year’s SXSW festival in Austin which generated enough energy to shatter glass at the venue and make this one of the summer’s most anticipated releases. TNGHT’s first ever UK headline show took place at London’s Village Underground last week. Check the pics here.
