Dutchman Guillaume Philibert has been busy filling niches with orange-label, Filling Pieces. The Amsterdam based footwear label’s street-conscious luxury/performance design enjoys global appeal made possible by a steadily growing number of fans and retailers.
The result of a recent collaboration with Flybird Leather designer, Franky Boateng, is an exclusive collaboration pack including a pair low-top trainers merged with the Filling Pieces x Flybird backpack. Leveraging the FLYBIRD color way, the trainers come in deep black leather with natural colored leather heel. The bag is crafted out of the finest naturally tanned cowhide, with an inside that is filled with a padded cushion lining.
This exclusive release will only be available for purchase through the Filling Pieces website and a select few retailers for €400/$500 USD. Both color ways are available in an extremely limited quantity of ten packs.
