Over the past year dance music has taken over the hearts and minds of America. It’s creeped into top 40 radio via the likes of David Guetta but the real story lies with guys like A-Trak. The child scratch DJ phenom has matured to become a significant taste maker in the music biz. Kanye West’s former tour DJ has now taken center stage. The Fool’s Gold Records head honcho joined chart toppers Swedish House Mafia and the legendary Jacques Lu Cont in New York for the first all DJ show at Madison Square Garden. All the success couldn’t happen to a nicer guy. He’s taken a moment to thank us for promoting his stuff on multiple occasions. That sort of recognition is why I have kept this site alive for the past seven years. Much appreciated.
