Gotta be honest, not a Bloody Beetroots super fan but I do have an appreciation for some of their stuff. I really liked the Britney Spears remix that Sir Bob Cornelius Rifo did a few months back, for example. There is something to be said for the brand they’ve built (the iconic masks, DJ and live band thing, huge global following, etc.). Today they release a new single called “Church Of Noise” with a supporting visual. The track follows a format that you’d expect…high BPM, pumping, searing synth stabs, and punk-ish vocals. Beetroot loyalists will love this. I dig the video. Brings me back to Nirvana’s video for “Smells Like Teen Spirit” with the kids moshing around the band (minus the emo cheerleaders of course). The single is out now on Beatport via Ultra Records.
