Audionite is 25 year old German producer Szymon Rabowicz. A fondness for hip-hop and R&B in coordination with his aggressive, dark, 80′s inspired new wave beats resulted in this glorious remix. The original ‘Wanna Love You Girl‘ production work by Pharrell Williams/Chad Hugo (The Neptunes) is/was superb but the track never seemed to take off here in the US for whatever reason. Possibly too forward thinking in comparison to the Top 40 tunes at the time. Anyhow, Audionite takes the track to the dark techno clubs of Berlin. A pounding four-to-the-floor kick rides underneath distorted bass, sharp pops, clicks, and Robin Thicke’s sultry smooth vocal.
