Radio Soulwax Unveil Video Mix Series

After only being available to download and stream via the Radio Soulwax website and recently released iPhone/Android application, David and Stephen Dewaele have begun uploading them to Vimeo (in HD no less).

A little background on the project from the Soulwax team:
Radio Soulwax isn’t a radio station as you know it. It’s a collection of twenty-four one hour-long mixes with accompanying visuals. We call them mixes, but in reality they are more like short format musical films based on the record sleeves. Every hour has a different musical and visual theme (always based on the covers), to eventually make for a varied day-long radio schedule that will remain online in a rotated and continuous loop.

Instead of making another 2manydjs mix album, they decided to take a more rich media approach which they’ve successfully applied to their DJ sets/live shows. Consider this video series as a magical journey through their ever expanding record collection. It absolutely blows my mind thinking about how much time and effort it must take to put these things together. So the fact that they are giving away this content for free makes it even more special.
