It’s clear with the volume of Basement Jaxx related posts over the past six years that they are a big influence. We’ve been sent a myriad of bootlegs and remixes over time. Only a select few have produced anything outstanding enough to make it on the site. This is one of those exceptions. UK duo HeavyFeet and good friend Nick Thayer decided to take on a Jaxx classic, ‘Red Alert‘ whilst on tour in Australia earlier this year. The result is a reinterpretation that enhances the best bits of the original. Lots of love from the likes of Groove Armada, Rob da Bank, and DJ Craze.
