Mr Oizo & Gaspard Augé – TV Slut

The latest Quentin Dupieux (Mr Oizo) film “Rubber” ended up being selected for the Cannes film festival. Dupieux and Gaspard Augé (one half of Justice) crafted the score for this odd tale of a tire that comes to life for no apparent reason. A highlight for us is a track called “TV Slut” which is supposedly played the end credits for the film. The intro takes you back to Bob Sinclair and Thomas Bangalter‘s classic Jane Fonda sample from “Gym and Tonic.” It then then erupts into a twisted disco number using a sample from Hamilton Bohannon‘s “Let’s Start The Dance” that will work well on the dance floor. Very nice. The soundtrack is set to release on November 8th via Ed Banger Records and Because Music. Give the soundtrack a listen below.
