Phoenix walk on stage to do the encore for their final performance of their world tour at the legendary Madison Square Garden and (as predicted) the crowd received a special treat. The lights go down and Daft Punk rise behind a platform behind the band. They immediately launch into a robot rock remix of “If I Ever Feel Better” along with the band sprinkled with bits of “Harder Better Faster Stronger” and “Around the World.” Then “1901” to close the show. Quite a night for those lucky enough to be there. Look for a couple of forthcoming Daft Punk performances related to the TRON: LEGACY film in December.
