Basement Jaxx DJ Set at We Love Space Closing Party 2010

Lots of Jaxx news to report! To start, here is a recording of the recent Basement Jaxx closing party set at “We Love Space” in Ibiza.

They also made a rare appearance here in beautiful southern California last week. Simon and Felix were invited as special guest DJs to play at a weekly party hosted by Jason Bentley (KCRW) new “Penthouse” Thursdays at Drai’s Rooftop at the W Hotel in Hollywood. Beautiful people and beautiful music.

For the first time since the legendary 1999 session, they return to the studios of Radio 1′s “Essential Mix” for another two hours of mayhem this Friday night (actually it’s technically the early hours of Saturday 23rd October from 3am UK time). Additionally, they’re undertaking a wholesale digital overhaul of Basement Jaxx’s classic house label, Atlantic Jaxx, the home of all their early releases from ’94 until ’99.
