Duck Sauce is the new musical collaboration between A-Trak and Armand Van Helden. The project melds the spirit of classic disco house with modern day production techniques. The duo recently sat down in front of a camera (filmed at AVH’s home studio) to talk influences, producing, DJing, and travel. Its incredibly refreshing to hear these guys talk about bringing some soul back to dance music. Producing tunes that actually inspire people to dance, not just stand there staring up at the DJ booth.
Duck Sauce’s debut on Fool’s Gold is out this month exclusively on Beatport, with their full “Greatest Hits” EP to follow in September.
