Sold out event with one of the biggest line ups in some time completely falls to pieces after kids start tumbling over the balcony due to lack of crowd management. Details are still coming in but the event was indeed shut down by police and fire departments.
This disturbing video shows the kids on the second level falling (some jumping) off the second level balcony onto the main floor.
A message was posted early this morning on the HARD website:
Dear Los Angeles,
We are terribly sorry. Inglewood PD made the decision to shut down the event tonight much to our astonishment and yours. There are many questions to answer; rest assured you will not be left hanging. Please check back soon. The show must go on…
And then this from HARD promoter Gary Richards’ Twitter account, @destructohard: “Full refund will be made available for those who purchased tickets to HARD SUMMER more info coming ASAP. @HARDFEST”
Its a shame that this event fell through. We hope that all who attended got out ok and nobody was seriously injured.
